Many CD-Rom distribution companies will include shareware programs on their CD, and you may find it frustrating that the programs crash one after the other when attempting to launch/run them from the CD. This may be due to the applications attempt to write to some block on a read only CD. Hopefully, all CD-Rom distribution companies and programmers will inform their users of this problem. The problem can also be corrected by the programmer being aware of his/her application residing on a CD and informing the user that further use of the application will be limited or not possible at all.
